Sales & Trading - Equity Products
This division offers products such as listed equities, CBs (convertible bonds), derivatives, and on-line trading in Japan and abroad. It also provides high value-added, state-of-the-art financial services in a wide range of areas including research, IR (investor relations), on-line services and more.
Sales & Trading - Fixed Income Products
This division deals with a variety of Japanese products ranging from domestic bonds and derivative products to government, municipal and corporate bonds in North America and Europe. The Fixed Income Division also develops and markets new financial products, such as structured bonds and securitization products.
Global Banking
Each Industry Coverage Team has specialists knowledgeable about their respective industries, providing appropriate advice and solutions to a wide array of client needs relating to M&A, equity and bond financing, and other businesses.
Capital Markets Origination
In cases where equity and debt finance and other existing products are unable to satisfy client needs, we draw on the markets to deliver custom made financial solutions. We develop new products to suit the needs of increasingly sophisticated clients, and sell those products to investors.
Citi Investment Research & Analysis
Our research division provides up-to-date and insightful analysis of more than 330 listed companies in Japan. We form part of Citigroup Investment Research which covers approximately 3,000 companies worldwide
Sales & Trading Middle Office
This section plays a vital role in supporting daily trading activity, including communication with clients regarding accounts and trade confirmations.
Operations
This division plays an important part in product delivery, ensuring Citigroup Global Markets Japan’s transactions are settled accurately and on time.
Technology
This division supports all businesses at Citigroup Global Markets Japan, by providing comprehensive state-of-the-art system technology and services.
Finance
This division handles the finances of the company, including product control, accounting, taxes, capital usage reporting and analysis, and other critical areas.
