This is a combination of several distribution desks that reach out to a wide range of domestic and international clients.

Using Citi’s global reach and local depth, the sales teams can provide broad-based financial services to institutional clients such as domestic and overseas financial institutions, life and non-life insurance companies, unit trusts, investment advisory companies, hedge funds, corporations and governments.

Our sales gruops are able to leverage domestic distribution channels and experience. Its global connectivity also gives domestic clients direct access to foreign corporations and opportunities worldwide. Sales and Distribution also partner with various clients for trainee exchanges which act to enhance and strengthens our core relationships.

Clients can source a variety of equity and fixed income products from the Global Markets platform including government and corporate bonds, derivatives, structured products, equities, convertible bonds, prime brokerage, securities financing, etc. Its comprehensive client coverage has earned domestic and international recognition and is well respected amongst its competitors.

Our sales works closely with the Research Department (CIRA) to provide cutting-edge and award winning research, index data and portfolio analysis all part of the comprehensive financial services provided to our clients.

Citigroup Global Markets Japan is the lead provider of foreign products into Japan, comprising of government, corporate and emerging market debt, international equities and non-Yen derivatives.
